About us
Doodles Creek started from a farmyard kitchen in 2002.
Having relocated from Sydney for a rural lifestyle we decided to start a food business. We are passionate about food and love mayonnaise but found the Australian mayonnaise at the time to be very sweet. After a bit of trial and error, we made a delicious mayonnaise that was balanced and less sweet, (with less than 1% sugar) than other mayonnaises in Australia. We quickly developed a following, selling at farmer’s markets and to small retailers in Sydney. The name Doodles Creek, was inspired by the permanent pristine spring-fed creek that runs through Kangaloon in the Southern Highlands south of Sydney.

We are very proud that Doodles Creek today is one of Australia's leading gourmet food brands, renown for quality, freshness and innovation. Many people love the label, which was designed and printed in-house. We wanted the label to reflect the quality of the product inside and be good enough to have on a table set for a lunch or dinner. Our range increased to include mayonnaise flavoured with herbs and spices and later to include a range of salad dressings, relishes and pasta sauces.

Taste and quality are very important to us. Our products are made in small batches. We use fresh Australian tomatoes and herbs in our pasta sauces and relishes, pasturised free-range egg yolks to thicken our mayonnaises and no emulsifyers or water in our dressings. All our products are low in sugar and are gluten and dairy-free.
Whether you are spreading it on a sandwich or adding it to a salad or using it as a base for your favourite sauce, our mayonnaise is a perfect addition to any meal. With a focus on quality ingredients, sustainable practices and great taste, we aim to bring you a product you can trust and enjoy every day.
